Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care across dialysis modalities in a hospital setting in Baltimore, MD. You will supervise Patient Care Technicians and collaborate with ICU staff to support CRRT, hemodialysis, and apheresis therapies, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires current state RN licensure, BLS, and nephrology experience; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• One year RN experience required and required nursing skills.
• Minimum 6 months nephrology experience required before working independently with no other Dialysis RNs to provide dialysis and ultrafiltration services.
• BLS CPR Recognition.
• ACLS CPR Recognition preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Under limited supervision, provides direct patient care across dialysis modalities.
• Supervises Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff; educates ICU staff for CRRT.
• Documents treatment information and coordinates with physicians and care teams.
• Ensures patient safety, reports adverse events, and participates in staff meetings and training.
