Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a professional registered nurse (RN CAP 2) inpatient to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess patients, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes for a group of patients within the kidney care setting.

The role involves teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities, with opportunities to mentor staff and advance through CAP.

Qualifications

• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in all states employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform/coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Document patient data pre-, during-, and post-treatment and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide patient/family education and learn needs; document learning needs.
• Collaborate with health team and report variations in patient status.
• Direct and provide safe patient care for assigned dialysis patients as prescribed.
• Coordinate communication with dialysis providers and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support training/mentorship of staff.
