The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Inpatient Consultant, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse and innovative colleagues worldwide, making an impact by:

  • Validating and applying software modules related to coding and training
  • Collaborating with coding and clinical teams, including content creation
  • Presenting clinical and coding concepts to hospitals and organizations, supporting Clinical Documentation Integrity programs
  • Leading audits on medical record coding, documentation, compliance, and DRG assignment
  • Participating in corporate programs and ensuring compliance with professional, quality, and security standards, aligning with company values and ethics
Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role, Solventum requires (at minimum):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher and seven (7) years of experience as a coding professional or in a clinical setting

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED and eleven (11) years of relevant experience

And additionally:

  • RHIT or CCS certification with five (5) years of clinical coding or CDI experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Master's in HIM, Nursing, or related healthcare field from an accredited institution
  • Valid RN license with five (5) years of acute care experience and recognized CDI credential
  • Experience with telecommuting, EMRs, and chart auditing
  • Knowledge of 3M HIS software (360 Encompass)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication and organizational skills

Work location: Remote USA

Travel: Up to 50% domestically

Compensation (US Applicants Only)

The expected salary range is $119,076 - $145,537, including base pay and potential incentives. Actual offer may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.
