Job summary

Foundation Health Partners’ Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is offering an inpatient CNA sponsorship program to help you train while joining a compassionate care team on Medical (2S) and Medical/Surgical (3W).

During training, you will shadow a unit, attend classes, and progress from student to healthcare professional, with phased learning and eventual placement as a CNA on your assigned unit; prior to class, hired as PRN; second half includes paid orientation and limited shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; knowledge from medical terminology course may apply.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential for patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Assist with patient transport and unit coordination.
• Document vital signs and basic clinical measurements as required.
• Support scheduling, patient instructions, and clerical tasks to aid care delivery.
