Mass General Brigham seeks a Clinical Social Worker to manage assigned patient caseloads in inpatient medicine, surgery, or addiction recovery, providing assessments and interventions for patients and families affected by medical and psychosocial factors. The role emphasizes collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and discharge planning.

The position requires MA LCSW licensure, strong crisis skills, and the ability to advocate for patients within a complex care system.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current professional licensure in Massachusetts (LCSW required, LICSW preferred).
• Minimum of one year experience in a health care setting or related field.
• Knowledge of medical/psychiatric illnesses, procedures and treatments.
• Ability to lead groups and provide rapid psychosocial assessments.

Responsabilités

• Provide bio-psychosocial assessments and interventions for patients and/or families.
• Identify high risk psychosocial factors impacting health status and care.
• Intervene through evaluation, supportive therapy, and resources, coordinating discharge needs.
• Participate as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to care.
