Qualifications

• Master’s of Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current Massachusetts LCSW licensure required.
• LICSW preferred.
• Hospital-setting experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• LICSW exam must be passed within 12 months of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine risk and pathway for psychiatric care.
• Review referrals and determine engagement in psychiatric care.
• Coordinate with medical staff for patient placement and referrals.
• Provide psychosocial consultation and community resource linkage.
• Engage patients in entering treatment and provide brief interventions when appropriate.
• Participate in clinical case reviews, research, and quality initiatives.
