Job summary

Adams Clinical in Dallas is seeking an entry-level Inpatient Unit Clinical Research Assistant to support study start-up, screening, visits, and data capture. You will work under supervision to help ensure protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and quality data collection.

The role offers hands-on patient interaction, basic phlebotomy exposure, and development of regulatory and operational skills within a psychiatric/neurology trial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No prior clinical research experience needed; training provided.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn phlebotomy.
• Understanding of clinical research principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support study start-up activities, including supply inventory and document prep.
• Assist screening visits and collect demographics to support eligibility.
• Schedule and prepare for participant visits and labs.
• Serve as a participant liaison and coordinate transportation when needed.
• Escort participants during visits and perform vital signs and ECGs as trained.
• Complete ALCOA+-compliant source documentation for delegated procedures.
• Enter data into EDC systems and assist with query resolution.
• Maintain study binders, charts, and logs; aid with supply management.
• Ensure proper upload of source docs into eSource per SOPs and regulations.
• Support IP accountability and audits under supervision.
• Assist CRCs with monitoring visits and material preparation for inspections.
