Qualifications

• PGY-1 residency completed; PGY-2 preferred in specialty.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and dispense medications per orders per policy and practice standards.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure safe, cost-effective therapy.
• Review and intervene on orders for therapeutic adequacy and safety.
• Supervise technicians and interns; document interventions per protocol.
• Provide drug information to prescribers and nurses as needed.
• Participate in rounds, pharmacokinetic dosing, and quality initiatives.
