Brown University Health is seeking a Pharmacist to interpret, evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications under supervision, ensuring safety and cost-effective use. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supervise technicians, and contribute to pharmacy-based patient care and clinical pathways.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, Rhode Island license, and BLS/ACLS within 120 days. PGY-1 residency or board certification preferred; strong communication and rounding

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree and Rhode Island licensure.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications within 120 days of hire.
PGY-1 residency completion or Board Certification preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Experience with pharmacy information systems.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret medication orders for safety and efficacy.
Provide drug information to prescribers and staff.
Supervise pharmacy interns and technicians.
Ensure proper compounding and dispensing of medications.
Participate in rounds and quality improvement activities.
