Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to facilitate safe, high-quality, effective and economical use of drugs.

The role includes preparation and dispensing according to policy, participating in rounds, and supervising technicians in a hospital setting. The position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy, at least 1 year inpatient experience, and Maryland license, with residency or board certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with commensurate experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in an inpatient setting required.
• PGY-1 residency or Board Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotating staffing on day/evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and overnights as needed.
• Verify accuracy of order entry by prescribers in patient profiles.
• Review prescriptions for ingredients, strength, dosage, interactions, and adverse effects.
• Consult with prescribers to clarify orders or suggest alternate therapies.
• Provide drug information to patients, physicians, nurses and staff.
