Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to support safe, high quality, and cost-effective drug use. The role involves verifying orders, advising on therapeutic alternatives, educating staff and patients, and supervising dispensing operations within inpatient units.

The position requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD/BS in Pharmacy, Maryland licensure, and at least 1 year of inpatient experience. PGY-1 residency or board certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with commensurate experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in an inpatient setting required.
• PGY-1 residency or Board Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates safe, high quality, effective and economical use of drugs.
• Verifies accuracy of order entry and reviews medication orders for accuracy and interactions.
• Supervises daily dispensing operations and reviews work of Pharmacy Technicians.
• Participates in patient care rounds and unit-based services, including medication reconciliation.
