Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio is seeking an inpatient Clinical Pharmacist. This role rotates day/evening shifts (7:00am-3:30pm and 3:00pm-11:30pm) with every 4th weekend and two holidays.

You will ensure accurate, timely dispensing of medications and participate in patient-centered pharmaceutical care. Eligible sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and relocation reimbursement up to $5,000 are available.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire.
• Board Certification (preferred).
• Completion of PGY1 residency, fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience (preferred for specialized areas).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
• Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.
• Direct staff to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional relationships.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and patients.
