Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient to support 24/7 pharmacy operations and provide clinical services in coordination with inpatient teams.

The role includes medication order verification, IV room support, and collaboration with infusion and oncology teams to ensure safe and effective therapy for patients. Evening and day shifts with weekend rotation are included.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross and completion of an immunization administration course within 90 days.
• ACLS and/or PALS certification through AHA or Red Cross; required within one year for applicable roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication order verification and dispense verification per state and federal regulations.
• Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Support IV room operations and medication automation systems.
• Collaborate with infusion center and oncology teams to support safe and effective medication therapy.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and/or patients.
