Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT, seeks an experienced inpatient pharmacist to join a decentralized team delivering safe, effective medication therapy across a 286-bed facility.

You will rotate through Pediatrics, NICU, ICU, OR, and ED settings, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and clinicians to optimize patient care and ensure timely medication delivery.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
• Licensed to practice in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding pharmacy.
• Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
• Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs

Responsibilities

• Reviews patients' medication orders for allergy interactions, duplication of therapy, appropriateness of drug therapy, and drug interactions.
• Provides counseling to patients and promotes quality medication education and adherence.
• Supervises and directs activities of interns, technicians, and support personnel as required.
• Provides medication related clinical consultation and clarification to other health professionals.
• Takes initiative to solve problems including equipment, maintenance, drug availability, staffing issues, and patient care concerns.
