Job summary

Care New England in Warwick, RI seeks a Director of Clinical Informatics to manage inpatient clinical applications and lead the Clinical Informatics Team, Specialists, and Analysts. The role liaises between OU leadership and IS, drives budgets, and ensures regulatory compliance while guiding system implementations and interfaces.

The position requires a BS in CIS or RN (or related field) with 6+ years in app development/support and 2+ years in management; EPIC experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CIS/RN or related field with 6+ years in application development/support and 2+ years in management.
• Knowledge of systems development methodology, programming, analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience in healthcare environment; EPIC experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops goals and objectives for the Clinical Applications group and assists with department goals.
• Coordinates preparation and processes of computer systems to solve problems and meet goals.
• Interacts with customers and IS staff regarding priorities and appropriate software use.
• Manages Human Resources effectively and maintains on-call support capability.
