Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting; critical care, medical/surgical or Emergency Department nursing preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong critical thinking and independently time-oriented work habits.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinically based concurrent and retrospective review of inpatient medical records to evaluate utilization and documentation of acute care services.
• Facilitates accurate physician documentation and compliant reimbursement for services as required by payers and regulators.
