Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a CDI Specialist-RN to perform concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient records, ensuring complete, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation. The role supports ICD-10 CM/PCS coding, MS-DRG assignment, SOI/ROM, quality reporting, and reimbursement integrity.

Collaborating with providers, coders, and quality teams, you will clarify documentation gaps and promote timely, compliant data capture for clinical, financial, and regulatory reporting

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• BSN preferred.
• Working knowledge of encoding system and Excel.
• Previous Coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient medical records to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Clarify documentation with providers to support accurate data capture for ICD-10 CM/PCS coding, MS-DRG assignment, and regulatory reporting.
