Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our nutrition team in a full-time, on-site role. You will perform nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and provide counseling to patients in a collaborative care setting.

Qualifications

Must read, write, and speak English with good comprehension.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Comprehensive knowledge and application of nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy.
General knowledge of nutrient analysis, word processing, e-mail, and spreadsheet software.
Ability to search the web for nutrition research and update reference materials.

Responsibilities

Completes nutrition-focused assessments and evaluates anthropometric status.
Evaluates data to identify nutrition risks and high-risk behaviors.
Provides counseling, education, and referrals for nutrition care.
Performs related procedures as needed and participates in rounds.
Ensures care aligns with established standards and uses the Nutrition Care Process.
