Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an Inpatient Clinical Dietitian for our new Fort Wayne hospital. You will deliver nutrition care to inpatients and outpatients as part of an interdisciplinary team, applying the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care.

This full-time role requires on-call coverage every other weekend and holidays; a Master's or a Bachelor's completed by 2024 is required, with licensure in Indiana within 1 year and CDR registration within

• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Licensure through the Indiana state board must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• Clinical area billing may require CDR approval and Indiana RD license prior to start date.
• Ability to develop nutritional care plans and provide nutritional education.

Description

This is a full-time Inpatient Clinical Dietitian position that will be located at our new hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. This position will require working an on-call rotation every other weekend and holidays.

Provides optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The Nutrition Care Process includes nutritional assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention and nutrition monitoring and evaluation. Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates nutrition education individualized to the patient/client needs.

• Master's Degree is required or Bachelor's Degree prior to 2024.
• Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Licensure through the state of Indiana must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
