Job summary

Indiana University Health System seeks a registered dietitian to provide nutrition care for inpatients using the Nutrition Care Process. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, plan and monitor nutrition needs.

You will develop individualized nutrition education plans, document malnutrition findings and ensure licensure and registration requirements are met within timelines. This full-time role supports hospital operations and patient care.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree is required or Bachelor's Degree prior to 2024.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
  • Licensure through the state of Indiana must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
  • Any clinical area billing for service may require CDR approval and Indiana state RD license prior to start date.
  • Ability to develop nutritional care plans and provide nutritional education.
  • Demonstrated competency in nutrition focused physical exam and malnutrition documentation.
