An established healthcare provider seeks a dedicated Registered Dietitian to assess and document patients' nutritional needs. Assess, interpret, plan, monitor, and document the nutritional status and needs of patients using evidence-based standards, policies, and practice guidelines. Perform nutrition-focused physical exams. Provide age-specific and culturally sensitive nutrition care. Collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans to meet patient health goals.
Educate patients, caregivers, students, and healthcare colleagues on therapeutic diets and nutrition support to maintain or improve nutritional status.
If assigned, support and supervise the infant formula preparation routine, including recipe identification and calculation to meet infants' nutritional needs.
Participate in departmental activities to improve patient satisfaction.
Stay current with nutrition research and incorporate findings into daily practice. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Family & Consumer Science with ACEND accreditation.
Preferred: Master’s Degree.
Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed as a Dietitian by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Registration and licensure must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $58,240 - $78,478.40 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification, and peer comparisons.
