University of Virginia is seeking a Charge Nurse to lead clinical operations in inpatient care areas. This role drives staffing alignment, supports throughput, and ensures regulatory and safety standards are met while guiding team members and maintaining a constructive environment.

The position requires a BSN or enrollment in a qualifying program, RN licensure in Virginia, and AHA BLS. Prior Charge Nurse experience is preferred to manage care delivery effectively.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) or in a program to be completed within 5 years.
• Experience: RN Clinician 2 or higher; 6 months on unit or prior Charge Nurse experience.
• Licensure: Virginia RN license and AHA BLS certification.
