Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an Enterprise Provider Educator – Inpatient CDI to train providers on documentation best practices, risk adjustment, and coding accuracy. You will develop tailored education content and support quality improvement initiatives across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role is hybrid and requires living within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus; occasional evenings/weekends may be needed to meet business demands.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient/outpatient records to ensure accurate representation of illness severity and medical necessity.
• Identify documentation gaps and promote best practices in documentation and coding.
• Collaborate with physicians, coders and nurses to improve documentation quality.
• Lead education efforts and act as a resource for clinical staff.
• Support quality improvement projects and audits as needed.
