Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for our Inpatient General Medical/Surgical Unit at the Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus in Elmhurst, IL. This part-time role offers three 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm) with a weekend rotation and holiday track.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and performing duties to ensure patient comfort and safety. CPR certification and clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training or minimum six months of patient care experience or nursing clinical rotation.
• Completion of the care Companion Course within six months if required by the department.
• Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization and ability to follow directions.

Responsabilités

• The Patient Care Tech performs patient care tasks and procedures to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients under RN supervision.
