Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our day shift team. The role supports RN duties and basic patient care, with duties including comfort and safety tasks, under established procedures.

The position is full-time (36 hours/week) with 7:00 AM–7:30 PM shifts, requiring occasional weekends and a rotating holiday schedule. CPR certification and completion of an accredited CNA program or related clinical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to receive and follow through on directions

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Perform patient care procedures to support comfort and safety
• Float to inpatient units as needed including PCCU
