Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Part-Time Patient Care Technician for the Inpatient General Medical/Surgical Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus (155 E. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126).

Shift options include two or three 12-hour nights (7pm–7:30am) with every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday tracking. The candidate will assist RNs, perform patient care tasks to support safety and comfort, and maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.
• Nursing assistant training or at least 6 months of patient care experience, or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Care Companion Course must be completed within six months of hire if required by the department.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, ability to prioritize, and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure patient comfort and safety.
