Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a seasoned supervisor for the Inpatient Call Center and Communications teams. The role directs day-to-day operations, coaches staff, and ensures service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor performance, analyze call data, and uphold HIPAA and health-regulatory standards while ensuring 24/7 coverage and staff readiness across inpatient services.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Minimum five (5) years customer service, call center operations, or dispatch center relating to the medical profession with experience in data collection and report management.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Inpatient Call Center and Communications teams.
• Motivate and inspire excellent customer service and provide staff coaching.
• Ensure HIPAA, DNV, OSHA and other health regulations compliance.
• Monitor call center performance, analyze reports, and manage staff through audits.
• Provide support to staff and respond to escalated calls 24/7.
