Advocate Health is seeking an Inpatient BMT/Cellular Therapies Clinical Team Lead Pharmacist at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte. You will cover the inpatient bone marrow transplant team, provide medication expertise, round with the team, and lead pharmacotherapy initiatives for hematology/oncology patients.

The role involves weekend coverage on a 4-week cycle, collaboration with oncology pharmacists, and potential float between Inpatient BMT, Oncology, and Pediatric Satellite Pharmacy.

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC certificate.
No experience required; prefer inpatient pharmacist experience; PGY2 in pediatrics or oncology or BCOP/BCPPS preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees pharmaceutical care and designs medication therapy regimens.
Provides patient education on therapy, adverse effects, compliance, and administration.
Interprets medication orders and participates in medical emergencies.
Supports medication safety and quality improvement activities.
Manages formulary adherence and procurement of non-formulary/compassionate medications.
Prepares, dispenses, and ensures proper storage of medications in compliance with regulations.
