Job summary
Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Unit Manager to lead a 140-bed psychiatric inpatient unit in Kentucky. You will supervise nursing and support staff, coordinate with physicians, therapists, and administrators to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
The role requires a Kentucky nursing license and CPR/BLS certification, with a preference for 1 year of psychiatric inpatient experience.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license in Kentucky (or eligible to renew)
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Preferred 1 year of experience in psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65+
- Desire to work in psychiatric inpatient setting with diverse ages
Responsibilities
- Oversee overall functioning of the patient care unit
- Assign staffing per census and patient acuity following staffing plans
- Direct and supervise staff in clinical and administrative matters to meet accreditation standards

- Ensure quality care and regulatory compliance across unit operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery and safety
