Job summary

South Sound Behavioral Hospital in Lacey, WA is seeking a Program Therapist (Behavioral Health Social Worker / Mental Health Therapist) to provide evidence-based care in our inpatient behavioral health programs. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapies to help patients stabilize and begin recovery.

You will facilitate individual, group, and family therapy, develop treatment plans with the team, and coordinate discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related mental health field.
• Washington State licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic services for inpatient behavioral health patients.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate discharge and aftercare planning; participate in team meetings.
