Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in related field.
• State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable).
• Temporary Social Work permit OR passage of National Board of Certified Counselors examination for licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates as an integral professional member of an interdisciplinary treatment team led by a physician.
• Provides direct one-on-one age-specific psychotherapy services under supervision.
• Develops and implements treatment plans with developmental needs.
• Assesses psychosocial needs and documents psychosocial history.
• Performs continued-care planning with the treatment team from day one of services.
• Provides group therapy under supervision as deemed appropriate.
• Acts as liaison for patients and families to community agencies and services.
• Records and charts all patient contacts as required.
