WVU Medicine seeks a licensed clinician to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate social work therapy for assigned patients. The role involves discharge planning, aftercare, and linking patients and families to community resources, with tailored communication for guardians and age-appropriate understanding.

Must hold current licensure as required by the state. WVU Medicine supports clinicians with multidisciplinary collaboration and adherence to professional ethics.

• Must possess current licensure as required by the state where services will be provided.
• WV-based licensure options include LPC, Psychologist, NP with ANCC or AANPCB, or LGSW/LCSW/LICSW.
• Maryland/other state licensure options include LCPC, Psychologist, NP with psychiatric specialization, and LCSW/LMSW as applicable.

Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates therapy for assigned patients. Provides social work services for patients and families including plans for discharge, aftercare, and linkage to available community resources. Effectively adjusts communication with the patient (legal guardian, and/or family) with consideration given to age, level of understanding, developmental stage and clinical status. Practices in accordance with designated standards and ethics set by respective professional association guidelines.
