Job summary

You will help assess patients, document data for care plans, collaborate with providers, and contribute to recovery. Requirements include HS diploma, EMT or college in behavioral health, BLS, and WELLE training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least one year college in Behavioral Health, Allied Health, Psychology, or EMT experience.
• Ability to physically manage patients in a safe, therapeutic manner.
• BLS Heartsaver Certification to be completed during orientation.
• WELLE training to be completed within three months (location specific).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with addiction, behavioral problems, or mental health challenges.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment to maximize patient wellbeing.
• Interact positively with patients, offering comfort, empathy, encouragement, and support.
• Assess patients and gather relevant data to contribute to their care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver quality, safe care.
• Notify managers of significant patient care issues as needed.
