Job summary

Ohio Department of Behavioral Health seeks a Therapeutic Program Worker to support adults in inpatient settings. You’ll help develop independent living and social skills, implement personal plans, and assist with hygiene, medication management, budgeting, and meals.

You will de-escalate crises, model professional behavior, and transport clients as needed while working with a team to create individualized service plans and document progress in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Formal education in basic arithmetic and English communication.
• Valid driver’s license required for transporting consumers.
• Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment as noted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with consumers and professionals to create and implement individualized service plans and behavior plans.
• Monitors and assesses consumer progress, recommending revisions to service plans as needed.
• Maintains accurate records, logs, and documentation of observations and progress.
