Job summary

The Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) seeks a part-time residential support worker at Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare in Athens, OH. You will help adults develop independent living and social skills, assist with hygiene, budgeting, meals, and transportation to appointments, while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

You will implement individualized service plans, de-escalate crises, document progress, and collaborate with a team.

Qualifications

• Formal education in arithmetic and basic English literacy.
• Valid driver’s license required to transport consumers.
• Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consumers and professionals to implement individualized service and behavior plans.
• Monitor progress and revise service plans as needed.
• Attend meetings and contribute to program direction.
• Document progress and observations in a timely manner.
• Maintain the residential facility’s cleanliness and safety.
