Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Social Worker - MSW for an acute inpatient psychiatric unit. The role emphasizes behavioral health and requires strong psychiatric experience, including suicide risk assessments and safety planning.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, provide individual/group/family therapy, and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning with a focus on patient safety and discharge coordination.

Qualifications

• Licensed Masters of Social Work with behavioral health and psychiatric experience.
• 2 years of clinical social work experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
• LMSW license required; BLS and CPI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management coordination.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct suicide risk assessments and safety planning.
• Engage in crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation.
• Coordinate discharge planning and outpatient behavioral health services.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, social work, rehab therapy, pharmacy, and case management.
