Formación

• Licensed Masters of Social Work with behavioral health and psychiatric experience.
• 2 years of clinical social work experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
• LMSW license required; BLS and CPI preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management coordination.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct suicide risk assessments and safety planning.
• Engage in crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation.
• Coordinate discharge planning and outpatient behavioral health services.
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, social work, rehab therapy, pharmacy, and case management.

Description:The position requires a Licensed Masters of Social Worker with strong behavioral health and psychiatric experience.The role involves adult acute inpatient psychiatric stabilization, including both voluntary and involuntary admissions.Comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management are essential duties.The Social Worker will conduct suicide risk assessments and safety planning.Crisis intervention and behavioral de-escalation will be part of the workload.The worker will provide individual, group, and family therapy and engage in psychoeducational programming.Interdisciplinary treatment planning involves psychiatry, nursing, social work, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, pharmacy, and case management.Substance use assessments and treatment coordination are required tasks.The role includes discharge planning and coordinating outpatient behavioral health services.Patient safety monitoring, including close observation as clinically indicated, is essential.The Social Worker will coordinate with community behavioral health providers, residential treatment programs, and substance use treatment programs.The work environment includes a ligature-resistant patient care setting and behavioral health-safe equipment.Emergency response equipment and safety monitoring systems are part of the unit equipment.Candidates must be comfortable floating within the specialty as needed.The position does not require weekends or pre-scheduled on-call shifts.Some holiday coverage will be required as scheduled.
