Job summary

One Brooklyn Health is seeking a Psychiatric Social Worker to serve as a primary therapist across inpatient and ambulatory settings within the Department of Psychiatry. The role includes individual, group, and family therapy and comprehensive case management.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Social Work with NY LMSW/LCSW licensure and BCLS, plus at least one year of clinical experience. Bilingual ability is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience in outpatient or inpatient social work.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessment and therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and case management.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Document services in medical records in a timely manner.
• Participate in treatment team discussions to coordinate care.
