The role emphasizes patient safety, timely medical intervention, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a regulated treatment setting.

The Staff Nurse supports medical providers, nursing leadership, and treatment staff while ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred in inpatient settings, with behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision in an inpatient setting.
• Complete nursing assessments and admission documentation within established timeframes.
• Administer medications and educate patients as directed.
• Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and initiate interventions as needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians, treatment teams, and leadership to support care plans.
