Job summary

Saint Marys Hospital in Waterbury, CT, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a part-time RN to join its Behavioral Health Team. The role supports patients and families, providing feedback to tailor treatment goals and education during admission, with emphasis on safety and patient satisfaction during nursing care.

Minimum qualifications include CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS certification; Behavioral/Psychiatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• Certification: BLS required.
• Preferred: Behavioral/Psychiatric experience.

• Nurses provide meaningful feedback that helps our multidisciplinary team tailor treatment goals to the individual needs of every person.
• Educating and supporting patients and their families during the BH Admission.
• Nursing care is key for safety and patient satisfaction. You will lead patient observations, milieu management, and help communicate and address emergent needs of the people we treat.

Pay Range: $37.25- $61.75 per hour

Pay is based on RN experience. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
