Crestwyn Behavioral Health is seeking a Nurse Educator to design and execute education plans, lead onboarding, and ensure regulatory compliance to elevate patient care. The role emphasizes evidence-based teaching, staff competency, and safety within a psychiatric inpatient setting.

The position requires advanced nursing education credentials and RN experience in psychiatry, with opportunities for professional growth at a leading facility in Memphis, TN. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or commensurate experience required.
• Five+ years strongly preferred; three years RN inpatient psychiatry experience required.
• 1+ years experience in Clinical Education/Training and Development (Preferred).
• Certification as an NPD Practitioner or clinical certification preferred; CPR and de-escalation certification required.

Aufgaben

• Facilitates orientation/onboarding program to promote employee retention.
• Conducts orientation in a manner that fosters a positive learning environment.
• Role models organizational and personal commitment to new employee success.
• Assists with designing educational activities to address practice gaps for target audiences.
• Identifies learning needs of staff and/or facility
• Collaborates with Nursing leadership to review outcomes data to evaluate competency
• Develops education plan according to gap assessment or quality data/safety outcomes
• Implements and delivers educational curricula as required by Joint Commission, CARF, CMS and State agencies.
• Provides staff with resources and “just-in-time” education to implement immediate changes
• May serve as infection preventionist for the facility
• May provide direct care as needed.

Ausbildung

Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education or other clinical field
