Job summary

Mercy Health – Youngstown seeks an Anesthesia Clinical Assistant to support surgical teams in inpatient settings. You will prepare anesthesia equipment, assist with invasive monitoring, and help maintain supply stock across holding areas, OR suites, and imaging areas.

The role requires calm performance under pressure and teamwork. Responsibilities include maintaining logs, supporting equipment repairs coordination, and ensuring aseptic practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year associate degree preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited anesthesia tech program or equivalent in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, monitors, and supplies.
• Assist with equipment and supplies for anesthesia cases in various areas.
• Maintain clean, sterile work areas and replenish supplies as needed.
• Coordinate inventory with Supply Chain and track equipment logs.
