Qualifications

• Master's Degree.
• National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs complete history & physicals and documents in the medical record.
• Orders and collects data using appropriate assessment techniques and diagnostic procedures.
• Serves as first responder for patient status changes and initiates necessary interventions.
• Assesses risks in care of acute and chronically ill patients including medication effects and immobility.
• Collaborates with the care team to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Orders diagnostics and interprets results to inform care plans.
• Develops and documents a comprehensive plan of care addressing complex needs.
• Prescribes diagnostic strategies and therapies and may perform advanced procedures.
• Maintains communication with the care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Documents progress and discharge plans according to standards.
• Pursues professional development and participates in rounds and research.
