Advocate Health operators a surgical service in Macon, Georgia, seeking a PA or Acute Care NP to join an inpatient General and Trauma Surgery team at a Level I Trauma Center. Work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in a busy hospital setting, collaborating with experienced surgeons and APPs to optimize patient outcomes.

The role offers no night shifts or on-call requirements, with an average patient census around 15 per day, and a strong emphasis on evidence-based care and teamwork in a high-acuity

Competenze

• Certified as a PA or Nurse Practitioner with acute care certification.
• Be eligible for or possess Georgia licensure.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and teamwork abilities.

Mansioni

• Provide inpatient care for General Surgery and Trauma Surgery patients.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care.
• Participate in daily rounding and multidisciplinary care discussions.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary teams.
• Manage patient admissions, consults, and follow-up care as appropriate.
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care and documentation.
