Job summary

Copper Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Inpatient Activity Therapist for a full-time day shift. The role focuses on designing and delivering activity-based therapies to support patient recovery and engagement within an inpatient setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a related field, with BLS required within 30 days and ACLS/PALS within six months of hire; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related therapy field.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience in therapy preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies theory and standards for therapeutic decision making.
• Assesses patient needs considering culture and disability to tailor activities.
• Documents patient responses to interventions in progress notes.
• Develops initial and ongoing treatment programs per physician orders.
• Sets measurable goals and plans of care for each patient.
• Provides therapy according to plan and communicates with the patient about progress.
