Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver therapeutic programs; tailor treatment with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain clinical and administrative documentation for therapeutic services.
• Stay current with regulatory standards (e.g., The Joint Commission) for activity therapies.
• Contribute to discharge planning and program outcomes.
• Assist in managing resources, equipment, and the library for activity therapy.
• Deliver exit interviews and implement improvements based on results.
• Schedule therapy sessions based on patient and hospital needs with management.
• Oversee and monitor activity therapy patient care programs and outcomes.
• Provide individual or group evaluations in treatment sessions.
• Identify and report abuse to management, police, and state agencies.
