Qualifications

• Experience with TVAAS, state assessments, and value-added data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Employ special educational strategies and techniques to improve development of sensory and perceptual skills, language, cognition, and memory.
• Instruct students in academic subjects using varied techniques to meet diverse needs.
• Teach in inclusive settings with a co-teacher and implement IEPs.
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced instructional program with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Collaborate with parents, administrators, and other professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Maintain records and report on student progress as required by laws and district policies.
