Job summary

Eurest is hiring a Sous Chef in Littleton, CO to support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring a safe, sanitary work environment. You will prepare meals in line with corporate programs and guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective dishes, and assisting with planning, ordering, and inventory. You will help roll out new culinary programs and supervise cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts with specialized training.
• 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of food cost, safety, sanitation, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of kitchen personnel in food preparation.
• Ensures high quality food items are prepared and presented cost-effectively.
• Assists in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation.
• Supports cost controls and expenditure management for the account.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Supervises staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
