Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes seeks a New Product Development (NPD) Engineering Co-Op in Raynham, MA, to support shoulder reconstruction programs. You’ll work with a multi-functional team on design, testing and documentation for implants and instruments, under a senior engineer and mentor.

You will gain hands-on experience in CAD modeling, design controls, and early-stage product development, while collaborating with surgeons and cross-functional partners in a dynamic medical-device setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomechanical, Biomedical, etc.).
• 3-D modeling using NX Unigraphics or SolidWorks.
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical testing.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be available full-time January–June 2026.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support design, testing, and documentation for shoulder reconstruction products.
• Assist with design control documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with multi-functional team and surgeons for feedback.
• Lead portions of projects under mentorship.
