Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in culinary arts.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary management in high-volume ops.
• Experience in institutional/batch cooking.
• Hands-on chef leadership and strong cost control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops regular and specialty menus per K12 standards.
• Trains kitchen staff on food prep, equipment, safety.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas.
• Manages inventory and ensures critical items are stocked.
• Ensures health/sanitation compliance and audits.
• Participates in meetings and staff development.
• Performs other duties to support operations.
